Product Description
A highly advanced design for this fin that is molded from two materials with very different characteristics: a strong polypropylene for the blade and soft elastomers (thermo-rubber) for the foot and protective inserts. The result is an extremely light and well-balanced fin, of average size, with surprising reaction time and a formidable thrust. The side stringers that extend all along the blade and two flaps situated along the end of the blade itself make the fin very directional. The blade originates from the upper part of the foot pocket, with a 20% increase in useful surface area compared to a traditional fin of the same length. The foot pocket is computer designed and guarantees ideal transmission of the leg-fin thrust. The lightness and perfect balance of the materials, together with the extremely modern design, make the Pro Light a generous fin that provides exuberant performance without too much physical effort. These fins are perfect both for beginners and for professionals and are very common among instructors and technical divers.

~5'9", 157#, lean athletic build, I fit a medium for most things, size 9 shoe. Bell curve applies.
I ordered the M/L. With standard neoprene booties, these fit exactly as they should, and they work well.
I like the clip release, I like that spare clips are offered, and the price is superb especially on sale ($64.50/August 2023). The colors look good and are easy to spot and ID among other yellow fins.
I was worried not having any center flow cuts would hurt the performance, but it didn't seem to. The edges actually channel the water along the fin, which is nice and long, but not overly so.
They're nice and bendy, but the black rubber does tend to scuff against things, so watch out for that. It can potentially mark pools, tubs, floors, boat decks, etc.
I'm satisfied and will use them until the sea claims them.

They are quite large for versatile fins (and not light, despite the name - though lighter than some), so not great for regular travel, though they do fit into a normal suitcase.
I had hoped that these would be a great fit for me, along with my Cressi boots. Unfortunately, there is no toe hole, and the foot box is very wide, so to get them to work stably on my size US 14 narrow feet, I have to cinch them very tight, crushing my toes into the box. The boots are also wide for me, but the fins are clearly designed to accommodate even wider boots.
• These are "long fins", for freediving and SCUBA more than for snorkeling or swimming in a pool. They will propel you forward rapidly, but are a little less maneuverable, and can tire out your legs/feet if you're not used to them.
• They are open heel, which means they need neoprene socks or other footgear to feel comfortable on your feet. Either get those, or get full foot fins instead of these open heel.
• Remember to relax your ankles and move your feet SLOWLY, and loosely, up and down. With long fins you get the most propulsion from small effort. You can go a little faster by kicking harder, but it takes a lot of extra energy to only a little extra speed. Scissoring wider is slightly more efficient, but the basic, relaxed movement is what works best.
When I took them freediving in Key West and elsewhere in Florida, they did exactly what I wanted.
The one exception was that one fell off my foot when I was out pretty far, and I was tired enough (and happened to be somewhat out of breath at that moment) that it was a struggle getting it back on. I ended up swimming one-footed to some rocks to brace myself. But, really, under normal circumstances it wouldn't've been a problem. I'm not sure why it came off, though.
In brief, these fins are WAY too big for the size indicated. My shoe size is men's 8E. In dress shoes I wear 8.5D just because those shoes usually come in the D width. Athletic shoes are also 8.5 I bought these fins in size S/M at first (before Amazon corrected the sizing guidance). Way too big, so I returned them. Got XS/S instead, which Amazon now lists Men's 8/10 as the numerical equivalent. These fins are still too large. I wear 2mm dive boots, and even with the straps pulled as tight as they will go I will have a fin slip off at least once per confined dive session (I'm going thru my open water certification now). I finally resorted to cutting two pieces from a gel shoe insert and stuffing one each into the foot pocket of each fin to allow my feet to protrude more out of each foot pocket, so that the straps are tighter. That allowed me to go through one session without losing a fin, although I was still constantly pulling the straps higher up over my heels as they kept sliding downward toward fin freedom. These fins did come with plastic inserts that I believe are meant to make them fit better for smaller feet like mine, except said inserts are hard plastic and make the foot pockets too narrow at the sides and hence painful to use. With as much strap as I have left, these XS/S fins should easily accommodate size 10 or even 11 men's shoes. XS/S is more like Men's 9/11, not 8/10.
The fins themselves seem fine. Very sturdy, seems like they give good power and will last a long time. Just make sure they fit!
